Always Read the Rules Twice

Unfortunately, the regulations and stipulations of Sale and Rent Back schemes are often very long winding and complex. What muddles the murky waters even further, is that every scheme has its own way of going about things, which can seriously confuse matters for home sellers, especially those in the lower-middle social classes, due to their lacking literacy.

A useful rule of thumb would be to go over every detail in the contract at least twice, before weighing up its limitations and benefits – and in the end putting pen to paper.
