Raoul Dufy was a French painter who expressed his fondness for pure colour applied with a kind of casual freedom. His favourite subjects were regattas, casinos and palm trees, race courses and orchestras.

Painted by Dr J Kakestan AKA Jenny Muncaster. Jenny's paintings possess a naive charm and are both quirky and colourful. Her works often feature food and drink,travel and the sea. She has recently completed a collection of paintings for the Hotel du Vin and is a visiting tutor at Winchester School of Art as well as initiating art projects workshops and residences.
